Some long-awaited positive news regarding lifted restrictions and recommencing training...
Both our government's guidelines and coach's commitment mean that we are now able to happily announce that training will begin again on:
Saturday February 13th
10:00 - 11:00 @ Skärpnäck
We will begin with a fun, light training session where the 2008 kids will be introduced to the rule changes that come with the big move up to U14.
With this in mind, a good attendance would be much appreciated.
As usual, please respond to the Svenskalag kallelse so that the coaches can plan in advance for the session.
If anybody needs help accessing their Svenskalag account, please send Karl a message. ( FB, firstname.lastname@example.org or 0761166800 )
Our Winter training sessions will continue once the weather permits.
Snow & reasonable cold (down to approx. -12c, depending on wind) will be deemed ok to train in.
Heavy rain and/or strong, cold winds may be deemed otherwise at short notice. (Friday morning latest)
Rugby/Football boots will be vital on the snowy surface.
Mouthguards, as always, necessary too.
Please make sure the kids have a minimum of 3 layers of synthetic clothing with them.
Better to take a layer off than to freeze wishing they had an extra layer!
No coaches will turn up with any hint of cold symptoms.
We expect the same from parents and players.
There is very little (no!) information available at the moment regarding festivals, but we will keep you informed as soon as we hear anything concrete.
After a couple of sessions, we will come out with an approximate plan for the season and hope that we will be able to stick to it without any more restrictions. Really looking forward to seeing you all back at Skarpnäck and am sure the kids are too!
