In Pool A, Italian are undefeated having beaten England and drawing with France. France have still to play decisive match against England. Sweden, despite having what seemed to be a strong team on paper, are struggling and could well lose to Italy. England could pip France to take second semi-final place.

In Pool B, Spain have yet to concede a point and are looking very strong. Netherlands to take second spot.

Forecasted set-up for Sunday:

Semi-finals: Italy – Netherlands; Spain – England

5th – 8th place: France – Russia; Portugal – Germany

9th – 10th place: Sweden – Finland

Spain to meet Netherlands in the final (same as World Cup in football) with Spain taking it.

Finland no pushovers, Sweden must win to avoid the drop.
