Rapport från Ungdoms-SM i Enköping

29 Sep 2009

Exiles U15 Swedish Champions for the 5th time

29 Sep 2009
It is becoming obviously clear that there is no rugby team in Sweden that can beat Exiles’ U15s who during the weekend became Swedish Champions for the 5th time running by scoring 73 tries and conceding two (i.e. 365 – 10) in 7 matches. Although a very good score, the U15s did not break last year’s record when they won by 380 – 0, a spectacular score indeed.
In Swedish youth rugby, you play two years in every class. Next year our 94s become U17s, and they are then re-united with their old team mates born 93 forming what is truly a golden team. It is a fairly safe bet that the boys will take home their 6th championship next year.

Trojáns ungdomssektion i bussolycka

28 Sep 2009

Game of two halves

14 Sep 2009
The Firsts ended up with a comfortable victory; 69 - 17 at Årsta, but two first half mistakes kept a hard working Gothenburg team in the hunt. Man of the match was Rikus van Niekerk with two tries and some barnstorming runs. Jakob Wanag poached at least four balls from the contact area as well as a couple of GRK lineouts.
