What is a mailing list?
A mailing list is a way of creating groups of people's e-mail addresses. By sending mail to one address the whole group gets the message. This puts the responsibility of getting information from the club in the hands of our members. It also makes it easier for our officials to communicate with members without having to rely on one persons maillist in his or her mail software. So join up today so that you know what’s up tomorrow.

How to join our different mailing lists!
Send an e-mail to: ”maillists@exiles-rfc.org” from the e-mail address (account) that you wish to join the list. In the subject line write ”join intouch@exiles-rfc.org”. To join our other lists you must send additional mail and replace the word ”intouch” with the name of the other list. You may of course join all of our lists if that interests you.

This is the official news channel for the club. Only members of the committee and other officials have access to send to this list. It is recommended that everyone subscribes to this list.

Instructions
Be moderate with your messages. Remember that you can get banned from the list if you misbehave.
You can at any time leave a list by sending a mail to: maillists@exiles-rfc.org with the words: leave ”listname”@exiles-rfc.org in the subject line. If you change address don’t forget to remove your old one and rejoin from your new account.

The "In Touch" list is open to everyone, but only officials of the club can send to it. The other lists are only open to members. There is no way of automatically controlling this, but the lists will be "cleaned up" from time to time.
